Afghan Kush’s roots trace back to the Hindu Kush mountain range near the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. It has been perfected over centuries, making it the ultimate source for hash such as charas and the sticky black Afghani hash. White Label Seed Company, a Sensi Seeds partner from the Netherlands, made its seeds available for everyone to grow. The cannabis buds of Afghan’s Kush develop into massive, blunt-topped nuggets full of resin and coming in big yields. Revered for its heavy resin content and powerfully sedating effects, Afghan Kush is a top choice for anyone looking to relax after a long day.
Afghanistan, from the Hindu-Kush Mountains
Sensi Seeds is the most popular version, and is sold as “Afghan Kush”. There is also a version available as “Afghani Kush” from Next Generation Seeds.
Indica breed variety
Medium-short, 47-55 days.
Hailing from the land of hashish-producing cannabis strains, this Afghan Kush is one of the most resinous strains on Earth, known for producing incredible “charas” and Afghan black hashish. The plant shows a very strong traditional indica structure with large, wide, dark green leaves and thick, blunt-tipped buds.
Cultivated in the Hindu-Kush Mountains of Afghanistan for centuries, this Afghani Kush subset of the Indica family tree dates back to the purest of the Indicas. Collection and provision in seed form mainly by Sensi Seeds in Amsterdam. This variety was traditionally used in the production of hashish, but it is also very valuable as flowers, with its large, resinous and sticky buds.
Earthy, hash and slightly sweet, sometimes with notes of Pinesol.
Like the scent, it sometimes has sweet hash notes, similar to the fragrant charas produced from this strain.
Effects package indicates moderate potency that is heavy on body relaxation and pain relief thanks to its resin content.
It grows with special vigor when started from the clone instead of the seed: growers starting from the seed will see great growth as the plant comes into flower, thanks to the vigorous Afghan vigor present. It grows well in all media and even in adverse outdoor conditions thanks to its strong lineage.
